nxtControl GmbH (NXT), owned by Schneider Electric, consists of 20 employees with a strong team-experience in the development of software tools for automation applications. The team consists of experts including university graduates in mathematics, machine engineering, software, and hardware engineering as well as application engineers. NXT is well known for the development of one of the first automation software products based on the new IEC 61499 standard for distributed systems. Several technologies and techniques have been integrated to answer customer request for more flexibility and modularity of automation systems.
